Algorithms - No Class Today

Sorry, I can't meet you today because we're currently having domestic problems so my presence is needed here at home. We'll finish up all the lectures on Jan. 3 na so paki-reserve na lang pud sa inyong ice cream...hehehe.  Advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you! :)

Data Structures (Special Class) - Activity for Tomorrow, Thursday

Considering that you are all 42, I decided to scrap out the graded board work/oral recitation for tomorrow since it will consume a lot of time.  Instead, we will have an online test tomorrow administered via http://quizstar.4teachers.org 

There will be two batches for the long test.  Your user registration details are found below:

Batch1:  12:00nn - 1:00pm

Batch2:  1:00pm - 2:00pm

The test consists of 55 multiple choice questions at one point each.  You have at most one hour to finish the test.

You are only to take the test inside the laboratory.  Absence means zero for this long test, unless you have a very valid excuse.

For our first quiz this afternoon, there will be two parts.  Part 1 is multiple choice, and Part 2 is solving.  For Part 1, you are all required to log in to this site:

All Classes (Algorithms, Discrete Math, Free Elective, Data Structures) - No Classes on Thursday and Friday

I just want to inform you that I will not be able to hold classes for the rest of the week (Thursday and Friday) since I have pending works to finish and I will be out on Thursday as well to attend to some important matters. Please take note of the following:

Algorithms:  We will continue with the presentations and the lecture on Monday.

Discrete Math (day):  Class will resume also on Monday.  We will discuss a new topic.

Discrete Math (evening):  Class will resume on Tuesday.  We will discuss a new topic.

Free Elective 3:  No meeting this Thursday, which is advantageous for group 1 so that you will have more time to prepare.  Presentations will start Thursday, next week, right after my short presentation on Interaction Design.

Data Structures:  Our activity (board work/graded participation) will be on Thursday, next week, so that we can have it at ICLab2.
