Algorithms and Discrete Math - Important Announcement

Our seminar-workshop which is supposedly scheduled tomorrow has been moved to February 7 due to the unavailability of the speaker.  Hence, we will meet tomorrow, Thursday.

Algorithms:  We will finish all the topics left in Graph theory.  The long test is still set on Monday, next week.

Discrete Math:  We will meet tomorrow for lecture, therefore, no need to meet this Friday for make-up class.

Please spread this announcement.

Multimedia: Announcement

You are to present next week your story line for your assessment 3 and your concept for your assessment 4.  This is part of the monitoring of your assessments.  Attendance will be checked.  You will not be accommodated in the event that not all members are present, thus, make sure that everyone should be around when you present.  It will be on first come first serve basis.  In a 1/4 sheet of paper, write down your desired name for  your group and the name of the members and hand it over to me.

Your grade for your assessments 3 and 4 will be computed as follows:

GRADE = 90% output (based on set criteria) + 10% group attendance

Schedule:

CS:  Monday, 2:00-4:00pm

IT:    Friday, 1:00-3:00pm

I would like to announce also that you are to do assessment 3 first, as opposed to the original plan of doing the two assessments simultaneously.  The final video presentations will also be upload to our Facebook page for comments, same with the 2nd assessment. Keep posted for the assessment specification, criteria and the due date.
